5% Day for BEACON Afterschool

Join us on Tuesday, August 11th in supporting BEACON Afterschool! BEACON is an afterschool program that provides an intentional blend of enrichment and academic assistance support for students in Grand County, Utah. Their programs serve more than half of Grand County students in the K-8 age range, consistently serving children and youth from marginalized families. BEACON also offers information and events for families throughout the school year, a two-week summer camp in partnership with Moab City Recreation Department, and meaningful opportunities for local businesses and organizations to support children and families in the community as community partners and funding sponsors. Every second Tuesday of the month, Moonflower Co-op donates 5% of the day’s proceeds to an organization doing important work in our community.
