Day of the Dead Festival (Día de los Muertos)
- 🗓 Sunday, November 1, 2026 · 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
- 📍 Moab Valley Multicultural Center, 156 N 100 W, Moab, UT · Directions
The Moab Valley Multicultural Center's 16th annual Day of the Dead Festival, or Día de los Muertos, fills the center's courtyard with live mariachi music from Mariachi Sol de Jalisco, traditional Mexican food, cultural exhibits, face painting, free kids' activities and ofrendas (altars) honoring those who have passed. A community altar is open to anyone who wants to light a candle in remembrance of someone. The current U.S. national champions in Cueca, a South American folk dance, perform at 2 p.m. Admission is free, with food for sale. Anyone can decorate an ofrenda in memory of a loved one or pet, but space is limited — call 435-259-5444 or email moabmulticultural@gmail.com. More at moabmc.org.
