Citizen Readiness Corps - Free Emergency Prep Class

Our next West Jordan emergency preparedness Citizen Readiness Corps event will be on June 25th, at 7 pm, at West Jordan City Hall – City Council Chambers on the 3rd floor (8000 S Redwood Rd). Guests and topic: Tal Ehlers, Emergency Manager for the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) will discuss Transportation in a Disaster. Tal will talk about transportation challenges, expectations, and how public transit systems prepare for and respond to disasters and major emergencies. Please note that due to election activities taking place in the building, we will be meeting in the City Council Chambers rather than our usual location. Unfortunately, this presentation will not be available via Zoom, as the meeting room does not have that capability. If possible, Emergency Manager Jeff Mulcahy will record the presentation and make it available at a later date.
