September Nutrition and Dietetics Food Demo

The topic for this month's food demo is "Nutrition Fact or Fiction: Protein Popularity." Protein is having a moment, but is more really better? Bust some of the biggest myths surrounding proteins, other macronutrients, and learn what your body needs. Featuring a balanced bite sample. Graduate interns in the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science do food demonstrations to teach employees about functional nutrition. Participants will get to sample the food that was demonstrated.
