Cedar Mesa Naturalization 2

Volunteers join the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance and the Bureau of Land Management to protect pinyon-juniper forests and cultural resources on Cedar Mesa, within Bears Ears National Monument. Work includes moving woody debris, delineating campsites, installing light signage and surface remediation techniques. Difficulty: Moderate. SUWA provides dinners and workday snacks; volunteers are responsible for breakfast, lunch, camping gear and transportation. Remote dispersed campsites with no running water or pit toilets.
