Women and Water: Reflections of Labyrinth Canyon

Canyonlands Field Institute's Women and Water seminar is a five-day river expedition through Labyrinth Canyon on the Green River, designed for women seeking connection with the canyon landscape and each other. Guest faculty Laura Petersen of the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA) leads discussions on land management policy around the Green River and Labyrinth Canyon corridor. Semira Crank of the Bears Ears Partnership covers Leave No Trace principles and archaeological resources found along the route. Also contributing to the series is Lanier Nabahe of the Nature Conservancy, who specializes in San Juan River Basin water management. All proceeds from CFI's Adult Adventure Seminars fund subsidized youth scholarships, giving local kids access to outdoor education programs. For registration and trip details, visit cfimoab.org/adult-adventures or contact CFI at info@cfimoab.org or 435-259-7750.
