Container Gardening Tour in English and Spanish - NEW!

Join us for an inspiring tour of Marilu's container garden oasis in West Valley City and learn how to grow a bountiful harvest with no yard required! We'll explore why container gardening can be a great option, how to plan and set up your containers, plus the fundamentals of feeding, watering, and keeping your plants happy over the long-term. This class will be taught in both English and Spanish. About our instructor: Marilu Ortiz has been gardening full-time since 2016, starting at the Glendale Community Learning Center and later with our School Garden Program. She teaches garden classes both in-person and online, and installs garden beds for friends and community members. She's especially drawn to aromatic herbs and ancestral medicinal plants—and there's nothing she loves more than eating what she grows in her own backyard.
