Celebrate the legacy of Utah's Scottish pioneers with traditional music and dance. The Utah Pipe Band was founded in 1937 by Robert Barclay and other Scottish immigrants at the request of President David O. McKay. Come enjoy the stirring sound of highland bagpipes and the beauty of traditional Scottish dance as we honor our shared pioneer heritage. This is part of the 2026 Summer Concert Series at Temple Square. This will be a free, hour-long concert in the Brigham Young Historic Park. This event is open to the public and no tickets are required. Seating is limited, so we suggest arriving early. Standing room is available, and pillows or blankets are welcomed. Free parking is available in the North Office Building north lot after 5:30 p.m.
