Eccles Theater Technical Outreach presents Managing the Magic: Company Management & Stage Management of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child October 2, 4-5pm Delta Hall at Eccles Theater Discover what it takes to keep Harry Potter and the Cursed Child moving from city to city with members of the touring production’s company management and stage management teams. Designed for students and emerging theater professionals, this ETTO event will explore how these two teams work together to keep a major Broadway tour running smoothly. Attendees will hear firsthand about managing the people and logistics of a touring company, coordinating complex performances and backstage operations, responding to challenges in real time, and the skills needed to build a career in company or stage management. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from professionals working on one of Broadway’s most complex touring productions and gain a better understanding of the teamwork required to bring a large-scale production to audiences across the country. Event Details: Check-in begins at 3:45 PM in the Grand Lobby of Eccles Theater. The event will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to arrive on time. All attendees must register separately.
