Join teaching artist Ken Yamane on Saturday, July 11 to explore the traditional Japanese art of bonsai. This immersive, hands-on workshop offers a rare opportunity to cultivate realistic representations of nature in miniature form. Under Ken’s guidance, you will: ✂️ Learn about the fundamentals of bonsai, including wiring, potting, and pruning techniques. Shape your own live Juniper tree into the classic *Moyogi* (informal upright) style—characterized by graceful, naturally winding curves. Receive your very own living miniature tree to cultivate and care for at home!
