Family Promise of Ogden 5k Fun Run & 1mi Walk

A perfect path for everyone (see route maps below, all races begin and end near the Park Bowery): Runners can chase their personal best on a 5K route that starts at the Harrisville Park Bowery, winds past the new Family Promise building, and then returns to the city park. Medals will be awarded to the top runners. Walkers will enjoy a relaxed, non-timed, one-mile scenic route. Children under 12 years can test their running or bicycling legs on the one-mile route while children's movie characters cheer them on! The first three runners to the finish line will earn a medal. (bikers won't be part of the medal race, please bring non-motorized bikes/scooters only). Children's Movie Characters will cheer and mingle during the kids' race. At 9:30, they'll line up for a meet-and-greet. Bring your camera for a fun photo to remember the race by! Well Supported: Friendly volunteers, water stations, and first aid personnel will be available throughout the course to keep everyone safe, hydrated, and encouraged. Cross the finish line to cheering volunteers, dance to the music, browse the silent auction, and celebrate a great morning with friends and neighbors. Affordable Fun: Low registration price of $10- $15. Register up to 8 family members from the same household for just $50! Event Timeline: Saturday, September 26 8:00 am- On-site registration opens, silent auction begins (Cash or credit card accepted) 8:30 am- Pre-registered participants arrive at Park Bowery 8:45 am- Line-up at start line 9:00 am- Races begin 9:30 am- Meet/take pictures with movie characters, browse silent auction baskets, enjoy music, and refreshments 10:00 am- Medals awarded 10:15 am- Silent Auction winners announced Medals: Top finishers will receive medals in the following divisions: 5k run (16 and older Female) 5k run (16 and older Male) 5k run (under 16 years Female) 5k run (under 16 years Male) Kids' 1-mile run (under 12 years) (walkers and bike riders will not be timed, but will still end through the finish line) Parking: Free parking is available at Harrisville Independence Park's two convenient parking lots. Enter one parking lot from Hwy 89, or the other from Independence Blvd.
