Learn To Belay

Learn to belay with our qualified instructors! In this course participants will learn: - How to properly fit and wear a rock climbing harness - How to tie a figure eight knot for tying into a climbing rope - Safety checks for partnered rock climbing - Proper belay technique for top rope climbing - Proper lowering technique for top rope climbing - Verbal climbing commands Participants may bring their own climbing harness, belay device, and shoes. Rental gear will be available for participants who do not have their own.
