Americana - Celebrating 250 of Freedom

Morgan Valley Arts Council present Americana - Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom, Monday, June 29, 2026 at Morgan High School Auditorium. Americana - Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom is a free family event celebrating the culture and artistry of Morgan Valley residents. From 6 pm - 9 pm stroll through Morgan High School Commons and enjoy exhibits and artwork that celebrate what America means to each artist. Have the opportunity to join the signers of the Declaration of Independence, learn how to access the history of the United States at Morgan County Library, and view our founding documents at MHS' Freedom Hall. From 7 - 8 pm enjoy a Patriotic Variety show highlighting Morgan Valley performers, including Morgan Valley Chamber Orchestra, Morgan Community Choir, MHS Ovation and Jazz Band, Morgan Irish Trio, Broadway show tunes and the Americana Youth Choir.
