Halloween Weekend at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley

Join us October 30 through November 1 for a weekend of Halloween activities for guests of all ages. No tricks here, just plenty of treats.

Friday, October 30

Frights @ Nexus (6:00-8:00 PM, Nexus Lounge): A drop-in hangout for teens with Halloween games, a themed selfie station, and Dirty Sodas. This is an unsupervised experience. Complimentary for hotel guests.

Spooky Summit Cinema Night (film begins 8:30 PM, Big Dutch): A family-friendly screening of Hocus Pocus with refreshments, a candy and popcorn station, and party favors for children. Complimentary for hotel guests and locals.

Saturday, October 31

Spooky Scavenger Hunt (8:00 AM-8:00 PM, pick up at Concierge and Front Desk): Follow clues around the hotel and collect stamps along the way. Suitable for all ages. Complimentary for hotel guests.

Potion Lab: STEM Sensory Bottles (10:00 AM-12:00 PM, Camp Hyatt, $15): Create a Halloween-themed potion bottle using colors, faux eyeballs, tiny spiders, and confetti.

Guiding Lights: Little Pioneers' Candle Workshop (2:00-4:00 PM, Camp Hyatt, $10): Children design, roll, and scent their own beeswax candles while learning about Utah's pioneer heritage.

Halloween Face Painting (4:00-5:00 PM, Camp Hyatt): Themed designs ranging from pumpkins and bats to skeletons and witches. Complimentary for hotel guests.

Family Game Time (5:00-7:00 PM, The Living Room): Classic board games and hosted mini-competitions by the fireplace. Complimentary for hotel guests.

Artisan S'mores Bar (8:00-10:00 PM, Hailstone Terrace + Lobby): Build your own s'more with gourmet chocolates, flavored marshmallows, and classic fixings. Complimentary for hotel guests.
